Job Description
Liaise with Programme Manager/s and/or their Programme Secretary on the activities as assigned/scheduled, including to assist in designing e-banners/posters/video clips (if required) for weekly Webinar, Workshops & Calendar Events.
Send out emails as instructed by Programme Manager/s.
Assist in Social Media handles for weekly webinars – FB, Twitters and other relevant platforms.
Assist in Secretarial tasks - Analysis of online attendance form and workshop evaluation form.
Design digital promos for weekly online projects & calendar event.
Attend such webinar, workshop, seminar and other relevant events as instructed and to keep tab of these activities by taking minutes, notes and action as advised.
To extract materials from the previous concluded webinars/workshops and edit the video, social media, infographic for AIBD Youtube channel’s content.
Updating & managing content for AIBD website.
Produce analytical infographic for AIBD reports.
Write articles and reports for project closing.
Assist Programme Manager in proposing new projects/sourcing new partners for AIBD.
To attend relevant meetings as instructed, note the required action to be undertaken and the completion of the required action.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the office of Director.
Job Requirements
Degree or Diploma students pursuing studies in Public Relation/ Event Management/ Mass Communication/ Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literate with Microsoft Office.
Ability to work successfully with the team, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrate strong interest to build and exciting career in media and communication.

The Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) was established in August 1977 under the auspices of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), is a unique regional inter-governmental organisation servicing countries of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP) in the field of electronic media development. It is hosted by the Government of Malaysia and the secretariat is located in Kuala Lumpur. The AIBD is mandated to achieve a vibrant and cohesive electronic media environment in the Asia-Pacific region through policy and resource development.
