Job Description

  1. To build, maintain and enhance a good relationship between Management and residents/tenants
  2. To conduct daily management of hostel to ensure the smooth and continuous operation of the hostels.
  3. To monitor and manage rental collection, tenancy status and maintain stringent tenancy management policies.
  4. To manage 3rd party suppliers and contractors to ensure services provided are completed in a timely and effective manner.
  5. To organize fun social activities for the residents of the hostels to foster a harmonious community.
  6. To analyse and understand hostel operations to maximize income and minimize operational costs.
  7. Perform daily operations including inspection on rooms prior to checking-in and during checking-out, refund matters, attending to residents needs and overseeing housekeeping and maintenance matters.
  8. Making sure the rental invoice is issue in timely manner and the collection of the rental is follow up and all the collection is update into the system or logbook
  9. Ensuring that all operations and administrative tasks that have been assigned are completed satisfactorily.
  10. Liaising with other departments on resident’s welfare and issues related to financial matters.
  11. To open, sort, record and distribute incoming correspondences including mails, and email.
  12. Attend to emergency request from beginning to the end.
  13. To maintain, file and retrieve records/reports/ other office documents.
  14. To investigate and resolve tenant’s complaints related to residence matters.
  15. To be station as staff on duty as per schedule or instruct by your manager.
  16. To be active on social media i.e FB and IG as well as website and respond to queries
  17. Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Education/Teaching/Training, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Personal Services, Property Development/Real Estate Management or equivalent.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.

Applicants must have at least 2 years working experience.

Applicants must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Applicants must be able to communicate both internally and externally in a professional manner.

Applicants must be willing to learn and grow with the company.

Applicants must have transport and willing to travel.

Applicants must be willing to work at any of other student hostels under The Purple House within the Klang Valley area from time to time according to business requirements.
